Specialized Care Services
Alzheimer's Care
Meaningful Daily Living
Alzheimer’s care requires a special caregiver – one that is experienced, patient, kind, and understands each client’s unique symptoms. Our caregivers assigned to Alzheimer’s and dementia cases are trained and oriented one-on-one to the specific client’s needs.
With our dementia clients we often find that:
Assessments need to be more comprehensive and take into account a lot of factors including environmental safety, and symptom manifestations such as sundowning, delirium, and the client's unique social history.
Care plans need to be very proactive in providing appropriate, meaningful daily activities that stimulate cognition, mobility, and exercise.
Medication management may be a core component to mitigating symptoms and improving quality of life.
We take the time to understand our client’s needs and work with families to get the best care available. To discuss your specific needs or those of your loved one, please give us a call.
Post Stroke Care
The transition home after a stroke can be a stressful one.
Capabilities have diminished, sometimes quite substantially so that significant assistance is needed. Oasis Home Care Services core goal is to assist our clients in regaining as much of those capabilities as possible.
Our caregivers work in coordination with our clients' doctors and therapists to support consistent physical, mental, and nutritional programs prescribed by these professionals. We can also recommend other professionals after our clients home health benefits have run out.
Give us a call and we can explain how we work with stroke clients to maintain and improve their quality of life.

Taking care of the overwhelming daily tasks like errands and cooking
Preparation of special diets and nutritious meals
Transportation to frequent doctor's appointments and treatments
Sitting with clients through chemotherapy treatments
Getting outdoors and visiting the park
Indoor and outdoor exercise assistance when possible
